Alexander Rau is an Information Security professional with over 17 years of experience in Cybersecurity, IT and Privacy. He has provided leadership to a number of multinational organizations, including FireEye's Mandiant Security Consulting Services, leading and delivering incident response and strategic cybersecurity engagements. Prior to Mandiant, he held prominent roles as the National IT Security Strategist for Symantec Canada, as well as Service Delivery Management and Senior IT Security Consulting roles with IBM. Alexander holds CISSP and CISM certifications and has extensive experience leading high performance teams and advising public sector and private enterprise clients on next generation threat prevention. From 2008 to 2015, Alexander was also part-time faculty at Georgian College, teaching Computer and Network Systems Security.
